  3.                              DESCRIPTION

  5. Z-Wordz (pronounced zee words) is a simple game, yet challenging. The
  6. concept is simple, create the "Z Wordz" by completing all three words.
  7. Simple, but you can only discard up to 9 letters. And, you also must
  8. complete the words by linking them together. For example, the last
  9. letter of WORD 1 will be the first letter of WORD 2 and the last letter
  10. of WORD 2 is the first letter of WORD 3. This example shows you how it
  11. works:

  18. Words must be a valid 3 letter word (some abbreviations are OK too). The
  19. dictionary is loaded with over 950 three letter words (and the sysop may
  20. have added a few of his own).

  25. What's any game without some way to score your results? Each letter is
  26. worth a predetermined point. Rather than recreate the wheel, I've
  27. decided to use the letter values that the popular board game SCRABBLE
  28. uses. The points are as follows:

  30. 2 POINTS - DG               3 POINTS - BCMP         4 POINTS - FHVWY
  31. 5 POINTS - K                8 POINTS - JX          10 POINTS - QZ

  33. All other letters not listed above are worth 1 point each.

  35. Once the "Z Wordz" are completed, the program validates all words and
  36. then calculates the point values for each word it's found in it's
  37. dictionary. As an additional bonus, word #2 is worth double it's value
  38. and word #3 is worth triple it's value. So, if word #3 was CAT, you'd
  39. get 15 points for the word.
